Setting up your search area
EZHomesteading is pickup and delivery only, so the market is ranked by what you could realistically get to. Your search area is how you tell it what that means: a circle around home, and optionally the routes you already drive most weeks.
Prerequisites
You need an account, and an address to start from. Your address is only ever used to rank the market — it is never shown to sellers or to other buyers.
- 1Open Search Area from your account preferences, or take the setup prompt after you sign up.
- 2Enter your home address, or tap Use my current location. Search by address, city, or zip.
- 3Drag the radius until the circle covers how far you would actually drive for food. The count on the map updates as you widen it.
- 4If you move around a lot, tap I move around — add a regular route.
- 5Add the places you already drive to most weeks — work, school, a regular stop. Anything along those drives counts as close to you.
- 6Set how many miles either side of the route to include, then tap **Save my area**.
What to expect
The market sorts into In your area and Farther out, and stands along a route you added are labelled by where they are on the way to — "On your way to work", "Close to home".
Nothing outside your area disappears. It just stops coming first.
Your home and every place you add along a route are saved to Account → Addresses, so you do not have to type them again when you plan a pickup route or choose where a delivery goes.
You can change any of this later from Search Area in your account menu, or from Edit search area above your cards in Account → Addresses. It is one saved zone, so editing it replaces what was there rather than adding a second one.
