Placing your first order
Buying works like any other basket right up to checkout, and then it slows down on purpose: you are arranging a handoff with a person, so the time gets agreed rather than assigned.
Prerequisites
Set up your search area first. Without one the market shows everything everywhere, and most of it will be too far away to pick up.
- 1Browse the market, or search for what you want.
- 2Open a listing and check the unit it is sold by. Some things sell by count and some by weight, and the price is per that unit.
- 3Add it to your basket. If the listing has a minimum order, your first tap adds that minimum.
- 4Repeat for anything else you want. Goods from different stands can share one basket.
- 5Open your basket and check out. Your card is authorized for the total — you are not charged yet.
- 6Open each order and agree a pickup or delivery time with the seller in the order chat.
What to expect
Each stand in your basket becomes its own order after checkout, so you may have more than one conversation to finish.
Payment is captured per order, when that seller confirms it. Until then the amount is only held.
