Common questions about buying

At checkout your card is authorized for the order total, which places a hold. You are charged when the seller marks your order ready for pickup or drops off a delivery, or when you confirm pickup or delivery yourself, whichever comes first. If something still needs weighing, the charge waits until pickup. An order for a date far ahead charges a deposit right away, and the rest goes on hold on your card closer to the date. If nobody confirms, the hold is released and any deposit is refunded in full.

Because each stand fulfills separately. A basket holding goods from three sellers becomes three orders, each with its own time, its own handoff, and its own capture.

Some listings set a minimum quantity — a seller with twenty-five pounds of apples may not want to package up a single pound. The minimum is in whatever unit the listing is sold by, so a minimum of 5 on a per-pound listing means five pounds.

Your first tap on a listing with a minimum adds that minimum rather than one.

Sellers set a lead time for their store: the notice they need before any handoff. It applies to the whole store, and the earliest time you can propose respects it.

Some sellers also mark overnight hours where late orders skip the lead-time wait, so an order placed at 2am can still be ready first thing.

Yes — reopen the order and propose a new time. The other side has to accept it, same as the first time.

Open a dispute from the order. The listing's photos and description are what you agreed to buy, and they are the record the dispute is judged against, which is why sellers are expected to photograph their actual goods.

Only if they are delivering to it. Your search area address is used to rank the market and is never shown to anyone.
