Common questions about selling
- When do I get paid for an order?
Payment is captured when you confirm the order, not when the buyer checks out. Before that it is only a hold on their card. The captured money then follows your payout account's normal schedule.
- Do I have to accept every order?
No. If you cannot fulfill an order, cancel it and the buyer's hold is released. Doing this often is visible to buyers, so it is worth setting a lead time and hours that reflect what you can actually take on.
- Can I sell both pickup and delivery?
A store is one or the other. If you genuinely do both, that is two stores, each with its own address and its own schedule.
- Why can't I edit a listing's price right now?
Price, unit, and minimum order freeze while an order against that listing is live — a buyer already agreed to those numbers. Finish or cancel the order and the fields unlock.
- Can I close a single day without changing my weekly hours?
Yes. A specific date overrides the weekly pattern for that day only. If the day already has orders scheduled on it, resolve those with the buyers first — a calendar edit never cancels an order.
- What happens if my photo doesn't match what I hand over?
The listing is what the buyer agreed to buy, and it is what a dispute is judged against. Photograph the actual goods and keep the listing current as they change.
- Can I sell at a farmers market through this?
Yes — attach your store to the market and use its hours rather than painting your own.
- What if the app doesn't have a category for what I sell?
Name it yourself on the fallback screen when creating the listing. New kinds of goods get reviewed and added.
