Connecting your payout account
Payouts run through Stripe. Creating a store starts an account for you automatically, but it stays empty until you finish Stripe's own setup — this walks through that step.
Prerequisites
Have your bank account details and a government ID ready before you start. Stripe asks for both, and stopping partway just leaves the account waiting where you left it.
- 1From Selling, find the setup checklist and tap Connect payouts — or, if you're on the Payouts screen with nothing set up yet, tap Set up payouts.
- 2Read the first screen. It explains that EZHomesteading partners with Stripe for payments and payouts, and that the information is required by government regulation to protect against fraud.
- 3Continue into Stripe's own onboarding form, shown right inside the app. It asks for your bank account and identity details.
- 4Complete the form fully rather than closing it partway through.
- 5Once you're done, you're returned to Selling.
What to expect
Submitting your details does not turn payouts on immediately — Stripe reviews them first, and that can take a little while. If your setup still shows payouts as unfinished, you can tap Recheck status to refresh it, or open Edit bank account to pick up where you left off.
