Using the market map
The market opens on the list, with the map one gesture away. Nearby sellers that share a spot — several stands at one farmers market, for instance — are grouped into a single pin so the map does not fill up with overlapping markers.
- 1From the market list, tap the Map pill at the bottom (it shows a count, like "Map · 12 places") to reveal the map. On a wide enough screen the map is already showing as a permanent second column, and this step does not apply.
- 2Drag the sheet up or down to move between the list and the map, or tap a pin to jump straight to it.
- 3Tap a pin, or a card in the carousel that appears along the bottom, to center the map on that place and preview it.
- 4Tap the card again (or its title) to open the store or listing.
- 5Pan or zoom the map, then tap Search this area when it appears to re-run the search for what is currently on screen.
What to expect
Two controls sit in the top-right of the map: Center on me recenters on your current location, and — if you have a search area — Back to my area returns the map to it.
The Open today chip in the top-left filters the map to places you can still pick up from before the day is out. If a search returns more sellers than the map can draw at once, a "Zoom in to see all sellers" note appears — zooming in narrows the area and reveals the rest.
