Searching the market
The market search has two fields — where and what — and you can use either one alone or both together.
- 1Open the location field (labeled Where? on the app, a location box on the web) and start typing a place. Suggestions appear as you type, plus Near me to use your current location and, if you have a search area set up, My Area to go back to it.
- 2Open the listing field (What? on the app) and start typing what you are looking for. Suggestions include matching listings as well as whole categories and subcategories.
- 3Tap a suggestion to apply it, or keep typing and submit the text search directly.
- 4Tap the filters icon to narrow the results further: where you shop (your search area, or only along your route), when (open today), and what's available (in stock, or only sellers with a stall at a farmers market).
- 5Tap See results to apply your filters and close the panel.
What to expect
Searching for a place moves the market to that location and searches within roughly the standard market radius around it. Searching for a listing keeps your current location and ranks by how well it matches instead.
Recent searches you have used before may appear as suggestions before you finish typing, but a live match from the server always replaces them once one comes back.
