Practice claims on your listings

Practice claims are questions about how something was grown, raised, or made — organic methods, pasture time, additive-free, that kind of thing. They're answers you give, not ratings ezHomesteading assigns.

Which questions you get

Questions depend on the listing's category. Grown items ask about Growing practices, raised goods ask How it was raised, live animals ask About the animals, and made foods ask How it was made. A listing outside those groups — handmade goods and gear, for instance — gets no practice questions at all.

Answering a claim

Most claims are Yes, No, or Not sure. Some instead offer a small set of specific options — plus "I'm not sure" — rather than a plain yes or no. Required means required to pick an answer, never required to pick a particular one: answering "Not sure" satisfies a required claim just as well as Yes or No does.

Before you can publish, you check a box: "I certify these answers describe my actual practices."

What buyers see

Answered claims show as a badge strip on the listing, grouped under the same heading you saw while answering (Growing practices, How it was raised, and so on). A claim you left unanswered shows nothing — it isn't shown as "no."

Claims are answered while you're creating a listing and aren't part of its later edit screen — if a practice changes, there's currently no way to update the claim on an existing listing.
