Setting a day off or a one-time exception
Your weekly pattern is the default, but any specific date can override it — close for a wedding, or open extra hours for a one-off market day, without touching the pattern itself.
- 1Open your schedule and switch to the Specific dates tab.
- 2Tap the date you want to change on the calendar.
- 3Pick one of three actions: Closed this date to shut that day down entirely, Custom hours to paint a fresh set of windows just for that date, or Use weekly pattern to drop the override and let the normal week apply again.
- 4If you chose Custom hours, paint the date the same way you paint the weekly pattern — drag to open a window, slide or resize what you've painted.
- 5Check your work in the Overrides list underneath the calendar, which shows every date you've changed and what it's set to — "Closed," a list of times, or "Nothing painted yet."
What to expect
An override replaces that date. It never mixes with the weekly pattern — painting one custom window on an otherwise-busy Saturday means only that window is bookable, not the window plus your usual Saturday hours.
If your store has more than one location, closing a date closes every location at once — one tap and you're off everywhere for that day.
Closing or repainting a date never touches orders already scheduled on it. If a day already has accepted orders, resolve those with the buyers first — the calendar edit won't cancel anything out from under them.
