What this covers
These guidelines apply to every interaction on EZHomesteading: order chat messages, reviews, store and listing content, and disputes. They exist alongside Listing accuracy and Prohibited items, which cover what can be sold and how it has to be described.
Expected conduct
Buyers and sellers are expected to communicate honestly and respectfully, keep commitments made through order chat (accepted times, agreed handoff details), and represent themselves, their goods, and their reviews truthfully.
What gets an account removed
An account can be removed for:
- Harassment or abuse directed at another user
- Fraud — including fake orders, payment abuse, or impersonation
- Repeated food-safety violations
- Fake reviews or review manipulation, including reviewing your own store or coordinating reviews with other accounts
A single serious violation can be enough; most removals follow a pattern of repeated or escalating behavior.
How this is enforced
Store names, listing titles, order messages, reviews, and dispute text are automatically checked for offensive language. Short fields — like a store name or listing title — are refused at save time. Longer fields, like a listing description, are never blocked outright but are flagged for review, since a false positive there would cost a seller their whole description rather than a retype.
Beyond automated checks, violations are reported by users and reviewed by us. Depending on severity, that can mean content removal, a warning, or account removal.
Changes to this policy
These guidelines may be updated as the marketplace changes. The date at the top is when they were last revised.
