Logging a harvest batch

Logging a batch is how a batch-tracked listing gets stock. Each log becomes a numbered batch that counts down as buyers take from it and drops off the shelf once it expires — there is no separate "set stock" field to keep in sync.

Prerequisites

This only applies to listings that track batches. A listing with a plain stock number doesn't have a log button — its quantity is edited directly instead.

1. 1Open My Shelf and find the listing. Tap its log button — the label matches what you actually did: Log a pick, Log a bake, Log a collection, Log a catch, or Log a batch.
2. 2Set the quantity. It starts at your last batch's amount.
3. 3Choose when: Just now, This morning, Hours ago, or **Longer ago** for stock you're carrying over rather than just picked.
4. 4Picking Hours ago lets you dial back up to 12 hours. Longer ago skips the pick time entirely — buyers see only the date you set below.
5. 5Choose storage: Freezer, Fridge, Room temp, or Outside.
6. 6Set Good until. It starts at the usual shelf life for this kind of listing; nudge it if this batch is different.
7. 7Check "The moment you log, buyers see" preview, then confirm.

What to expect

A batch number is assigned the instant you confirm and is never reused. Times are computed from your taps in your store's timezone and shown to buyers as computed, never asserted.
