I am not getting notifications
Symptoms
You expect a push notification — a new order, a chat message, a pickup reminder — and your phone never buzzes. The activity still shows up if you open the app, just without an alert.
Cause
A few independent settings can each account for this on their own:
A category can be switched off. In Preferences, New orders, Order updates, Reminders, and Account notices are each their own switch. Turning one off does not stop that activity from reaching your in-app inbox — it only stops the push alert.
Quiet hours may be on and you may be inside the window. Non-urgent push is held until the window ends; it is not lost, just delayed, and still visible in your inbox in the meantime.
iOS or Android permission may never have been granted, or may have been denied. The app only asks once, the first time you turn a category on in Preferences (or, for sellers, from the notifications prompt on the Today board) — a denial there can only be undone from the OS, not from inside the app again.
The app itself was open. While you are actively using it with a live connection, EZ Homesteading shows its own in-app banner instead of an OS push notification for the same event — nothing was missed, it just did not look like a system notification.
Fix
Open Preferences and confirm the category you expected is switched on. If Quiet hours is on, check the From/Until window — wait it out, turn it off, or move it.
If a banner under the toggles reads "Your choices are saved, but iOS is still blocking notifications for EZ Homesteading," tap Open Settings and enable notifications for the app from there — that only appears once permission has actually been denied at the OS level, and only the OS settings screen can reverse it.
